It was announced that the "Decision on Amendments to the Inward Processing Regime Decision," enacted by Council of Ministers Decision No. 2005/8391 dated January 17, 2025, was published in the Official Gazette No. 32988 dated August 16, 2025, and entered into force.

The letter stated that the amendment to the said decision ensures that the legislative work regarding the steps to be taken, particularly those regarding documentation deadlines, is uniformly included in the Communiqué to ensure more effective use of the regime.

The letter continued, stating that the Decision, approved and entered into force on August 16, 2025, includes amendments regarding the sanctions to be applied in the event of abuse of rights under the Inward Processing Regime, the effective monitoring of documentation deadlines, and the removal of certain restrictions.
