The Powers and Responsibilities of the General Secretariat are specified in the Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Law No. 5174.
1 –General The Secretary is the disciplinary and registry officer of the chamber staff.
2 –The General Secretary prepares the minutes of the Assembly and Board of Directors meetings.
3 –Organizes and manages the internal workings and editorial affairs of the chamber.
4 –Gives the necessary orders and instructions to the chamber staff. and supervises its work.
5 –The Secretary General may, with the permission of the Board of Directors, delegate some of his duties and powers, including spending authority, to his deputies, to be redetermined at the beginning of each activity year. .
6 –Performs other duties assigned by the Board of Directors or the Chairman of the Board.
7 –It prepares the agenda of the body meetings, ensures that the meeting invitations and agenda are sent to the members on time, prepares the minutes of these meetings, keeps the decision summaries, keeps the attendance list and attendance charts for the body meetings, and keeps the decision books, decision summaries and meetings for the meetings. It maintains the records made with electronic devices.
8 –Attends the Assembly and Board of Directors meetings, provided that it does not vote.
9 –Follows and finalizes the decisions taken by the bodies and ensures the timely implementation of the decisions.
10 –Recruitment and promotion of chamber personnel It makes recommendations to the Board of Directors about rewarding, punishing and terminating its employment.
11 –Ex officio submits its expenses to the Board of Directors for approval and informs the Board of Directors about weekly expenses.
12 –Prepares the monthly trial balance and transfer requests, prepares the preparation budget, income statement, final trial balance and final account and presents them to the Board of Directors.

17 –Chamber Transaction Regulation and other Performs other duties assigned by the legislation and the duties assigned by the Assembly, the Board of Directors or the Chairman of the Board of Directors within the framework of the legislation. In accordance with the Law on Stock Exchanges and Stock Exchanges, he acts as the Chairman of the Purchasing Commission and approves the decisions taken by the Commission. He is authorized to sign in correspondence with persons and matters related to the execution of decisions taken by chamber organs.
20 –When the secretary general is on duty or on leave, one of his assistants, and in the absence of his assistants, the unit One of the superiors acts as the general secretary with the approval of the chairman of the board of directors.
