The Authority and Responsibilities of the General Secretariat are specified in the Law No. 5174 on Chambers and Stock Exchanges.

1. To perform the duties assigned by the Board of Directors,

2. To engage in activities aimed at the development and progress of the Chamber,

3. To communicate the issues that the units need to work on,

4. To set the Chamber's annual goals and ensure that the goals are achieved.

9. To exercise the authority to sign on behalf of the Chamber within the framework of the law,

10. To lead the Chamber's quality management system and accreditation efforts, and to approve the prepared documents,

11. To attend staff meetings and evaluate staff performance,

12. To measure the performance of the units as required by the QMS and accreditation requirements, and to initiate the necessary D/O activities,

13. To review the strategic plan and the work plans derived from it and ensure their implementation at the desired level,

The General Secretariat is responsible for performing all duties required by its office, including conducting visits, meetings, and member surveys with members within the scope of ISO 10002 member complaint management, and recording these in the suggestion, complaint, and request form F-12. 15.
