Dear Members,

In cooperation with the 19th Professional Group of the Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Iskenderun Representation of the Chamber of Architects; a seminar titled “Cities and People with Disabilities” will be organized to contribute to the development of accessibility standards in our cities, the increase of opportunities for barrier-free living, and the strengthening of professional awareness in this field.

Within the scope of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Gülay Yedekçi, who has significant works in the field of accessibility and inclusive urban design, will give a presentation; Planning, design, and implementation processes aimed at ensuring equal and independent access to urban spaces for individuals with disabilities will be discussed. We expect the participation of all our members to contribute to making our cities more accessible and inclusive, and to increase our professional knowledge and awareness.
