The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change sent a letter to our Association requesting comments and suggestions regarding the "Draft Regulation Amending the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation." This draft was prepared to ensure compliance with the amendments to Environmental Law No. 2872, improve provisions that have been problematic in implementation, and take into account technological developments and innovations in production processes. It is envisaged that relevant articles of the Regulation will be revised and that limited changes will be made to the annexes. The Draft Regulation, its annexes, and the Comparison Table are included in the Annex. Your comments regarding the draft should be prepared in the Annexed Comment Form, by adding them to the relevant items in the Comparison Table, and sent to egemen.batmaz@tobb.org.tr by the end of business hours on October 13, 2025.
