A new step has been taken by our country within the scope of digitalization. After keeping the journal and general ledger electronically in the past months, a new step has been taken. The Communiqué on Keeping Commercial Books Not Related to the Accounting of the Enterprise in Electronic Environment, published in the Official Gazette dated February 14, 2025 and numbered 32813, entered into force on July 1, 2025. In order to perform the transactions related to the creation, keeping, storage and presentation of commercial books within the scope of the said circular in electronic environment, the Ministry of Trade has prepared the Electronic Commercial Book System (ETDS) and with the entry into force of the Circular, ETDS has become operational at the address etds.ticaret.gov.tr.

In this context, the “ETDS in 100 Questions” guide document regarding the operation of ETDS and the Road Map Diagram regarding the companies within the scope of the obligation have been prepared by our Ministry of Trade and are attached. It is announced to our members.
