According to a letter received from the Rabat Trade Attaché, it is stated that, in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade dated March 17, 2026, and numbered 591-26, published in the Official Gazette of Morocco, numbered 7516, dated June 11, 2026, the list of goods subject to quantity restrictions on imports has been updated with the Circular of the Moroccan Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration, numbered 6747/311, dated June 24, 2026, and that, effective from June 11, 2026, the import of steel wire and cable products under tariff positions 7217.10.10.00 and 7312.10.00.90, which are also included in the annex to the Circular, has begun to be subject to import licensing.
