02 Haziran 2026 - OTHER Announcements
Regarding the implementation of the Import Control System 2 (ICS2) and the New Computerized Transit System Phase 6 (NCTS P6) in the European Union (EU), it has been announced that the derogation granted to Bulgaria will end on June 1, 2026, and that as of this date, it will be mandatory to transmit the Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) data via ICS2. It has also been stated that economic operators who ship from our country to the EU or through the EU to third countries should complete the necessary preparations. In the e-mail received from the Bulgarian Customs Administration, a copy of which is attached, it is seen that technical preparations are continuing for "Combined Declarations" (Transit declaration + ENS) for the period after June 1, 2026, and that technical instructions have been shared for economic operators to register on the Bulgarian Customs Administration E-Portal and submit their ENS declarations via the ICS2 (STI–STP) Trader Portal. The aforementioned notification also clarified that ENS declarations can be submitted not only by carriers but also through representatives.
