The Regulation on Preferential Rules of Origin within the Scope of the Joint Committee Decision No. 1/2023 of the Regional Convention on Pan-European-Mediterranean Preferential Rules of Origin was published in the Official Gazette dated 20 December 2025 and numbered 33113. Following the publication of the legislation, information notes regarding the said legislation were shared in the announcements section on the main page of the Ministry of Trade"s website. Information requests received by our Union regarding the said legislation are answered promptly and forwarded to the Ministry of Trade if necessary. In addition, since negotiations continue with both the European Commission and other relevant countries party to the PEM, a dynamic process is underway regarding the implementation of the Regulation. Therefore, it is important to follow all announcements and information made by the Ministry of Trade on this subject through the Ministry"s website and to contact our Association if there are any problems regarding the implementation as explained above.
