At the meeting, it was determined that the current bread sales prices of our bakery tradesmen have become insufficient to cover costs due to the recent high increases in basic inputs such as flour, yeast, electricity, and fuel. The unsustainability of current prices makes it difficult for our tradesmen to continue their activities. Therefore, it was unanimously decided to initiate action with the relevant authorities to redefine bread prices in accordance with current conditions and to forward the request to the TOBB Sector Council and the relevant Ministry.
