At the meeting; 1- In recent years, a rapid increase in the number of national supermarket chains has been observed in our country. Thanks to their widespread branch networks, centralized supply chain advantages, and high purchasing power, these supermarkets are able to offer their products to consumers at low prices. However, this negatively affects the competitiveness of local supermarkets. Therefore, views were exchanged on controlling the spread of national markets, developing support mechanisms for local markets, and ensuring fair competition conditions.

2- Within the scope of the weighbridge system, which will come into effect as of November 1, 2025, the requirement for small 3.5-ton vehicles to go to the weighbridge could cause various problems for industry representatives and businesses. These vehicles are generally used for short-distance urban transportation and distribution services, and frequent visits to the weighbridge will both increase operational costs and cause time loss in the logistics flow. In this context; It has been decided to re-evaluate the requirement for vehicles weighing 3.5 tons and under to go to the weighbridge, to relax the practice, or to write a letter to the TOBB sector council regarding the exclusion of these vehicles.
