At the meeting; 24.12.2025 In the December ordinary council meeting, the annual membership fees for 2026 were determined by majority vote according to the table presented above. However, as can be seen in the table above, our rating ratios according to capital amounts, which have not been changed in our chamber for more than 20 years, unfortunately do not meet the current conditions and the rights of our members. For this reason, the ratings according to capital amounts need to be updated, if necessary, by conducting research from the Iskenderun Chamber of Certified Public Accountants and members. In line with our committee"s own research, the sample table generally used in other chambers affiliated with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey is given below. As a result of the research conducted by our committee, the annual inflation rates from 2022 to the present are given below as an example. In light of this and the table above, considering the disproportionate and unfair increases from 2022 to the present, and taking into account the demands of our members, it will be to everyone"s benefit to bring the issue back to the agenda of our Chamber"s Board of Directors and to allow it to be discussed in our Chamber"s assembly, thus enabling the re-decision on the 2026 membership fees. The Chamber"s budget will also need to be adjusted accordingly.
