During the meeting, it was determined that due to recent high cost increases in basic inputs such as flour, yeast, electricity, and fuel, our bakers" current bread prices have become insufficient to cover their costs. The unsustainability of current prices makes it difficult for our bakers to continue their operations. Therefore, it was unanimously decided to initiate an initiative with the relevant authorities to re-determine bread prices in line with current conditions and to forward the request to the TOBB Sector Assembly and the relevant Ministry.
