14. Group Professional Committee Held its July Meeting.
In the meeting;
1. In earthquake zones, recorded by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance; It is of great importance that all taxpayers" stocks, fixtures and/or commercial goods that are buried under rubble or damaged after the earthquake are allowed to be deducted from their assets by first being written off as losses in the accounting records, and then these losses are covered by the state in the form of material and/or tax exemption. It is important for our members to implement this article in order to ensure proper inflation accounting, which businesses must apply to their balance sheets.
2. It has been announced that the force majeure period has been extended for the last time until 31 August 2024. Since it is known that the negative effects of the earthquake continue, extending this period for at least 1 more year is among the primary common expectations of our members.
3. It has been decided to notify the TOBB sector council in writing that it is of great importance to pay all debts of all businesses in the earthquake zone, which have accumulated after the force majeure, in interest-free installments, regardless of the ratios and without requiring collateral.
