The Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ITSO) 15th Professional Committee held a consultation meeting with its 15th group members. The meeting, held at Payidar Restaurant with a breakfast program, was attended by ITSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, members of the 15th Professional Committee, KOSGEB Provincial Director Mustafa Öztaş, Iskenderun Deputy Mayor Cihan Akyürekoğlu, ITSO General Secretary Figen Gül Dönmez, sector representatives, and members of the press.
Speaking at the meeting, ITSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz emphasized the great importance of professional committees in terms of sector representation and stated that ITSO regularly holds professional committee meetings. He added that the decisions taken regarding the problems and proposed solutions raised at the meetings are forwarded to the TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey), the parent organization, and that the processes are closely monitored.
The meeting aimed to strengthen sectoral unity and cooperation and develop bilateral relations, while comprehensively evaluating the current state of the sector. Participants had the opportunity to share their views on the problems encountered and proposed solutions. In addition, sector representatives directly asked questions to the relevant institution officials and received information on topics they were curious about. The meeting concluded after a mutual exchange of views.
