A delegation from TeknoparkİSTE, operating within Iskenderun Technical University (İSTE), visited Atıf Ceritbinmez, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (İTSO), and congratulated the newly elected chamber management.

The delegation included: İSTE Vice Rector and TeknoparkİSTE Board Member Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Kanca, TeknoparkİSTE General Manager Prof. Dr. Hakan Eryüzlü, Deputy General Manager Assoc. Dr. İsa Kılıç, University-Industry Cooperation Coordinator Lecturer Oğuzhan Arı, Lawyer Kürşat Esen, and TeknoparkİSTE Experts Erdi Traş and Enis Nasır Ergen. İTSO Board members Tuncay Paşaoğlu, Levent Çeliktürk, and Göktuğ Bilgin Türkoğlu were also present during the visit.

After conveying their congratulations, the TeknoparkİSTE delegation provided information about the technopark"s current activities, operation, and ongoing projects. Information was also shared regarding the progress made on the new technopark building, which is planned to begin construction.

During the meeting, the development of university-industry cooperation and increasing the number of companies operating within the technopark were discussed. İTSO President Atıf Ceritbinmez and board members stated that joint efforts could be undertaken to make the technopark more effective and to attract companies to the technopark.

During the visit, the importance of providing chamber members with detailed information about the advantages of operating within the technopark was emphasized, and it was stressed that inter-institutional cooperation should be strengthened to carry out work aimed at meeting the needs and expectations of the members.

At the end of the visit, the TeknoparkİSTE delegation presented a gift to İTSO President Atıf Ceritbinmez as a memento of the day.
