The General Assembly of the Iskenderun Small Industrial Site Construction Cooperative was held with the strong participation of industrial tradesmen, hosted by the Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The general assembly began with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, followed by the formation of the presidium.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, HESOB Deputy Chairman and Iskenderun Drivers and Automobile Owners Chamber President Erol Akın stated that they are always on the side of the industrial tradesmen and expressed their support for the ongoing efforts to bring a modern small industrial site to Iskenderun.

Akın thanked the Cooperative President İbrahim Açıkgöz for his efforts in this process and wished the general assembly success. Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the İskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized that they have been supporting the industrial tradesmen since the establishment of the cooperative and stated that negotiations are ongoing with the relevant institutions to realize a modern small industrial site befitting İskenderun. Stating that the high participation in the general assembly is the best indicator of unity and solidarity, Yılmaz expressed that as İTSO, they will continue to support the industrial tradesmen. In his speech, Cooperative President İbrahim Açıkgöz also emphasized unity and solidarity and stated that they are resolutely continuing their efforts to bring a modern small industrial site to İskenderun. Açıkgöz thanked the industrial tradesmen, Hatay deputies, Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Öntürk, district mayors, İTSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, and all stakeholders who contributed to the process for their support, and wished the general assembly to be beneficial for the industrial community.
