Ömer Kelleci, who announced his candidacy for the Presidency of the İskenderun Chamber of Mining Tradesmen, met with industrial tradesmen and business world representatives at a night he organized at the White House. The program was attended by İskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (İTSO) President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, İskenderun Mediterranean Merchants and Industrialists" Business People Association (ATSİAD) President Mithat Ceritbinmez, Industrial Construction Cooperative President İbrahim Açıkgöz, board members, 2024 Ahisi Behzat Böke, municipal council members, executives of non-governmental organizations, opinion leaders and a large number of industrial tradesmen.

Presidential candidate Ömer Kelleci stated in his speech that they had prepared projects that would increase the competitiveness of industrial tradesmen and that participation in domestic and international fairs would be supported and that coordination with institutions such as KOSGEB, SME and DOĞAKA would be strengthened.

Speaking at the evening, ITSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz reminded that the most important issue he has been bringing to the agenda for three terms is the relocation of the Small Industrial Site. Stating that the current location is not suitable in terms of architectural structure and occupational safety, Yılmaz said, “We conveyed this to ministers, members of parliament, and mayors in every term. We haven’t been able to take a single step for 13 years. If we are not united, it is not possible for us to produce benefits for İskenderun.” He emphasized unity and solidarity.
