İskenderun Technical University (İSTE) Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Duruel, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Kanca and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yapıcı, and İSTE General Secretary Yılmaz Balaman visited the İskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The İSTE delegation was welcomed by; The İSTE delegation was hosted by İTSO Assembly President Gassan Kuran, Vice Presidents of the Board of Directors Nihad Belli and Muzaffer Utku, Board Member Kerem Özdemir, and Professional Committee Member Kamer Bebek. The İSTE delegation congratulated İTSO Board of Directors President Atıf Ceritbinmez on his new position, emphasized the importance of inter-institutional cooperation, and made assessments regarding the development of relations between the university and the business world. During the visit, the work of the Vocational Training Center within İSTE and the steps taken to resolve bureaucratic problems encountered in this process were also discussed. Views were exchanged on strengthening vocational education and developing initiatives that will meet the needs of businesses in the region.
