The August assembly meeting of the İskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Zeki Altun.

ITSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, who addressed the meeting, stated that stability had been restored with the end of the civil war in Syria and emphasized that Turkey would play an active role in the reconstruction process. He emphasized the importance of steps such as facilitating entry and exit, establishing industrial zones, and increasing the capacity of the Cilvegözü Border Gate to improve trade between the two countries. He stated that the Cilvegözü Truck Park Project will make a significant contribution to exports.

At the August assembly meeting, Mehmet Cemil Güler, a member of the Accounts Review Commission, also provided information about the balance sheet. The agenda items were discussed and unanimously approved.
