Akpınar emphasized that the İskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (İTSO) has been a "Class B Accredited" institution within the TOBB Accreditation System since 2012, stating that accreditation is an important part of its vision to bring service quality to European standards. He noted that the strategic plan has been updated in line with TOBB"s new accreditation standards and changing economic conditions, adding that there has been no change in the Chamber"s mission and vision. He stated that activity plans, budgets, and costs have been revised and submitted to the assembly for approval in preparation for the 2026 accreditation audit. Akpınar wished that the revised 2023-2026 Strategic Plan would be beneficial for the Chamber and the region. Training was organized for assembly members, board members, and chamber staff at the İskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry. At the seminar, State Theatre Artist and Behavioral Sciences Specialist Adnan Erbaş gave a training on "Customer Relationship Management". It was stated that İTSO aims to increase corporate performance, strengthen employee motivation and make communication with members healthier through the training and social activities it carries out for its assembly members and staff. In addition, İbrahim Açıkgöz, the Chairman of the Accounts Review Commission, presented information about the balance sheet to the assembly members. The January assembly meeting ended with the discussion and unanimous approval of the items on the agenda.
