Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry Music Volunteers took the stage at Payas Sokullu Mehmet Pasha Complex with a concert that carried a special meaning this year.
On November 8, Azerbaijan Karabakh Victory Day and the 13th anniversary of Payas becoming a district, history and music came together.
ITSO Music Volunteers, the first and only choir established under a Chamber of Commerce in Turkey and supported by ITSO as part of its social responsibility project, treated the audience to an unforgettable night under the direction of Conductor Ayhan Rasha.
Payas District Governor Kürşad Karaca, Payas Mayor Bekir Altan, ITSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, industrialists and a large number of citizens attended the event, where Turkish and Azerbaijani flags were waved and songs were sung in unison. ????????????????
The choir members included tradesmen, teachers, lawyers, civil servants and retirees, and a nostalgic journey into the past took place throughout the concert.
At the end of the night, İTSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz thanked Payas Mayor Bekir Altan and Choir Director Ayhan Raşa for their support and presented them with plaques and flowers.
