The Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry"s September Ordinary Assembly Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Assembly President Zeki Altun.
During the meeting, current developments in the national and regional economy were evaluated, and economic developments in Iskenderun and its surroundings, as well as issues on the agenda of the business world, were discussed.
Kerem Özdemir, a member of the 19th Professional Committee, who spoke at the meeting, informed the Assembly members about the current state of the construction sector and the developments in the region after the earthquake.
Sedat Uzungenç, the Vice President of the Accounts Review Commission, informed the Assembly members about the August balance sheet.
Speaking at the last Assembly meeting before the Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry organ elections to be held on October 17, İTSO Board of Directors President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz made evaluations regarding the election process. President Yılmaz said, “I wish the elections to be beneficial for our country and our region. I hope that it will be an election befitting our chamber, in unity and solidarity.” The agenda items were discussed and decided upon at the meeting.
