The 11th Group Professional Committee of the Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with committee members from the Hatay Chamber of Commerce and Industry who serve in the same professional group to discuss the current situation and future of the sector.

The program was attended by the Vice President of the İTSO 11th Group Professional Committee, Mehmet Kasal, and committee members Muhittin Turgut, Adem Kaya, and Yusuf Şanlı.

In the meeting, which addressed the furniture, durable consumer goods, electrical, white goods, home furnishings, and textile sectors that hold an important place in the commercial structure of the region; the problems faced by businesses in the field, sectoral expectations, and solution-oriented suggestions were discussed.

Committee members highlighted the advantages of working together and agreed that establishing sustainable cooperation mechanisms between the two chambers would significantly benefit sector representatives. During the meeting, ideas were also exchanged regarding joint training programs, sectoral organizations, and initiatives to increase inter-firm collaboration. Mutual messages of goodwill were exchanged regarding the continuation of similar meetings at regular intervals. The program concluded with the Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry delegation presenting a plaque symbolizing the strong cooperation between the two institutions to the Hatay Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
