AK Party Hatay Member of Parliament Abdulkadir Özel, MHP Hatay Member of Parliament Lütfi Kaşıkçı, İskenderun Deputy Mayor Cihan Akyürekoğlu, AK Party İskenderun District Chairman Bülent Özer, MHP İskenderun District Chairman Turan Bozkurt, and AK Party İskenderun District Women"s Branch President Zeynep Soylu visited the İskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (İTSO).

During the visit, attended by İTSO Board Chairman Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, Board Members, Assembly Members, Professional Committee Member, and the General Secretary, current developments in the national and regional economy, the expectations of the business world, and investments that will contribute to the economic development of İskenderun were discussed.

In the meeting, evaluations were made regarding ongoing and planned investments, especially the New Industrial Site and Amanos Tunnel projects, which are of great importance for the region. AK Party Hatay Deputy Abdulkadir Özel and MHP Hatay Deputy Lütfi Kaşıkçı informed İTSO members and businesspeople about the latest status of the projects and the ongoing work. During the meeting, the impact of recent political and economic developments in the region on the business world was also evaluated, and mutual views were exchanged on possible efforts to further strengthen İskenderun"s production, trade, industry, and logistics potential.
