AK Party Hatay Deputy Abdulkadir Özel visited the İskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with İskenderun District President Bülent Özer and the district administration.
ITSO Chairman of the Board Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, Assembly President Zeki Altun, ITSO Foundation President Doğan Erten, board members and the Secretary General were present at the visit.
In his assessment of the meeting, Deputy Abdulkadir Özel said;
• Reconstruction process of Hatay after the earthquake,
• Amanos Tunnel and Belen Tunnel projects,
• Housing for eligible citizens He gave information about issues such as deliveries,
• İskenderun coastal arrangement,
• Marina project and
• Relocation of the small industrial site. Özel stated that these projects are of great importance for the economic and social development of Hatay.
At the end of the meeting, MP Özel stated that he would meet with sector representatives in İskenderun in the coming period and take the necessary steps to identify and solve the problems experienced on a sectoral basis. In this context, he emphasized that one-on-one meetings and solution-oriented efforts based on shared wisdom will be carried out in the field.
At the meeting, which was a mutual exchange of ideas, the ITSO management shared their views on the current state of the regional economy, needs in industry and trade, and the expectations of members.
