The information meeting about the “New Investment Incentive System Applications” put into effect by the Ministry of Industry and Technology was hosted by the İskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The meeting was attended by a large number of industrialists and businesspeople, including Industry and Technology Provincial Director Rıza Evrim, Industry and Technology Provincial Directorate Branch Manager, DOĞAKA Secretary General Oğuz Alibekiroğlu, and TOBB KGK Hatay Provincial President Yeşim Ugutmen.
Speaking at the opening of the program, İTSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz emphasized that the region is a strategic center that directs the Turkish economy in many sectors, from iron and steel to logistics, from energy to agricultural industry. Yılmaz emphasized that Hatay plays a critical role in the development of the Eastern Mediterranean, particularly with the port opportunities offered by the Gulf of İskenderun, organized industrial zones, and strong production capacity.
At the meeting;
DOĞAKA Secretary General Oğuz Alibekiroğlu provided detailed information about the “Local Development Initiative Program” and shared the program’s potential contributions to the regional economy.
Provincial Director of Industry and Technology Rıza Evrim and the Branch Manager made comprehensive presentations on the incentive programs carried out by the Ministry and informed the participants about the support provided to investors.
Following the informative presentations, the meeting concluded with questions posed by the participants and an exchange of views.
