The first stage meeting of the “Post-Disaster Reconstruction: Entrepreneurship Support Program”, carried out with the cooperation of Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Turkey Economic Policy Research Foundation (TEPAV) and the support of Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF), was held online. The opening speech of the program was made by İTSO Vice President Sanem Akpınar, and information about the call process and future stages, current situation assessments with local stakeholders, and interactive consultations were held about areas of need and opportunity focused on entrepreneurship. The aim of the program is to support local entrepreneurs affected by the earthquake with face-to-face meetings and projects to be implemented throughout the program, to strengthen the regional economy and contribute to socioeconomic recovery.
