An information meeting was hosted by Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with TAI. At the meeting, cooperation opportunities in the field of defense industry and the inclusion of regional industrialists in TAI"s supply chain were discussed.
In his opening speech, ITSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz drew attention to the importance of domestic production and supply chain opportunities, saying, “Our region has this potential.”
TEI Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Öztürk shed light on the history of Turkish aviation and emphasized that “National production is the foundation of national independence.” The program also featured TAI Commercial Programs Director Özgür Serdar Çam and TAI Industrialization Director Fatih Uysal providing information on domestic production, supply and industrialization cooperation.
The program was attended by TEI Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Öztürk, TUSAŞ Commercial Programs Director Özgür Serdar Çam, TUSAŞ Industrialization Director Fatih Uysal, İSTE Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Kanca, DOĞAKA General Secretary Oğuz Alibekiroğlu, İTSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, Chamber and Commodity Exchange presidents, council members, NGO representatives, and regional industrialists attended.
The program concluded with a question-and-answer session with the participants and the presentation of plaques.
