Yeşim Ugutmen, President of the TOBB Hatay Women Entrepreneurs Board, participated in the thematic meeting held within the scope of the Provincial Action Plan for Combating Violence Against Women.
The meeting addressed efforts to prevent violence against women, empower women economically and socially, support equal opportunities, and improve inter-institutional cooperation.
The study, coordinated by the Hatay Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, received contributions from the Hatay Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, the Eastern Mediterranean Development Agency (DOĞAKA), the Hatay Chamber of Commerce and Industry – TOBB Hatay Women Entrepreneurs Board, the Agricultural and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) Hatay Provincial Coordination Office, and the KOSGEB Hatay Directorate.
The importance of inter-institutional cooperation and joint efforts to enable women to take a stronger place in economic and social life was emphasized.
