The TOBB Turkey Economy Council, organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), was held at the TOBB Twin Towers, hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, relevant Ministers and Chamber/Commodity Exchange Presidents.
At the meeting, which was also attended by İTSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the economic developments in the world, the effects of these developments on Türkiye and the balance changes in foreign markets, and conveyed the work carried out with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance to develop exports in our country. He also reported that new studies were being conducted regarding the use of the Credit Guarantee Fund.
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz said that the Medium Term Program (MTP) would be updated in September as usual.
In addition to Vice President Yılmaz, Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Presidential Strategy and Budget President İbrahim Şenel and some deputy ministers also attended the meeting.üşür
