The TUA Astro Hackathon event, organized by the Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ITSO) and spearheaded by the Turkish Space Agency, concluded with the intense interest and innovative projects of young people.
In the event held in Iskenderun, young people interested in technology and space came together in teams and developed projects based on the determined problem topics. After the competition, which was full of hard work, creativity and innovation, the winning teams were determined.
In the competition;
???? 1. İste Node
???? 2. Kozmos
???? 3. Algu Team.
The first-place team, İste Node, designed a data architecture for the collection, processing and transmission of astrobiological data in the space environment; The second-place team, Kozmos, developed a strategic model for protecting national critical infrastructure with space-based systems. The third-place team, Algu, presented an innovative project on autonomous route optimization for vehicles that will operate on the lunar surface.
İTSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz also visited the young people during the event, examined their work on-site, and wished the participants success. Expressing his satisfaction with the projects presented by the young people, Yılmaz stated that such organizations make significant contributions to the technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region.
