The Turkey-Syria Roundtable Meeting was held at the TOBB Twin Towers, hosted by the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, with the participation of Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal al-Shaar and provincial/district chamber heads.
At the meeting, which was attended by representatives of the Turkish and Syrian business worlds, the development of trade relations between the two countries, increasing investments, and strengthening cooperation in the reconstruction process of Syria were discussed.
Cooperation agreements were also signed between the Syrian and Turkish Chambers of Commerce at the meeting, which was attended by İTSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz.
