Presidential Decree dated April 30, 2025, regarding "The economic difficulties experienced in the sector due to the introduction of a 25% additional import tax on automotive filter paper (which is not manufactured in the country) based on the Decision No. 9392 on the Imposition of Additional Customs Tax on Imports of filter manufacturing companies operating in Iskenderun, dated 31/12/2024", which was conveyed to the authorized units regarding the initiatives of our Chamber. The regulation was made and it entered into force by being published in the official gazette dated 1 May 2025. We would like to thank the sector representatives, TOBB and relevant ministry units who acted in cooperation with our chamber in making this decision, and wish good luck to all filter manufacturers operating in our district.
