The information meeting held in cooperation with Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry and TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc.) was held with intense participation from regional companies.
ITSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, in his opening speech, stated that he aims to carry out joint studies with TUSAŞ managers on topics such as ensuring capacity and technology transfer by including companies operating in Iskenderun in TUSAŞ"s supply chain, and to strengthen our cooperation with TUSAŞ, one of the leading organizations in our defense industry, and to open new horizons for our entrepreneurs and SMEs in Iskenderun.

TUSAŞ Materials Engineering Manager Mete Bakır, Wichita State University Boeing Expert Prof. Dr. Ramazan Asmatulu and İSTE University Faculty Member Ersin Bahçeci answered the questions of the participants.
At the end of the meeting, plaques were presented to TUSAŞ officials by İTSO President Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, İskenderun Commodity Exchange President Ahmet Ozan Kara, Antakya Commodity Exchange Treasurer Member Gönül Uğurlu, Dörtyol Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ercan Yıldırım and Reyhanlı Commodity Exchange President Bülent Karaca.
